I remember an old man that lived on Grandview Street who told me that Shiawassee was the "first road" in our neighborhood, even before Grand River went in...But he did say "That is what I heard". He was right, but Shiawassee wasn't a road, it was an Indian trail. You can literally access any Detroit map, and where Shiawassee and Grandview meet get a ruler, draw a straight line and can SEE how it used to traverse right into downtown Detroit.Greg B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10712120024211056695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1952754284080239944.post-6590851341319270362019-01-21T03:48:06.904-05:002019-01-21T03:48:06.904-05:00Nicely explained the historical point of view in t...Nicely explained the historical point of view in this post and the grand river post information is also great. jfk short term parking deals
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01575105560533983395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1952754284080239944.post-70638024901653443192016-12-14T14:27:01.228-05:002016-12-14T14:27:01.228-05:00My grandparents lived in Farmington on Randall rig...My grandparents lived in Farmington on Randall right beyond where Grand River forks into M-5Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
